maryrambin:

In between shows fashionistas (like myself and Editor in Chief of Allure Linda Wells) stopped off at Robert Verdi’s Luxe Lab (aka über chic sponsored event space).:: Linda is a religious Soul Cycler so we go way back. Robert and I “meet” every time we see each other but he’s actually pretty cool about it. I’m horrible with names and faces so I never give people a hard time about that. Alright, intro over, let me show you around.

P.S. His camo jacket is Louis Vitton. You know I hate clothing covered in logos, but this jacket is pretty awesome.

First of all what is this ( .:: ) you have been doing lately, Mary? I'm curious. I'm also not sure why you would put yourself on blast for being such a royal snob that you don't remember this person every time you meet them. And lastly, he is wearing a pattern and you are wearing a pattern. If there are LV logo's we can't see them. At least, I can't.

  1. Strange that she has a problem with "clothing covered in logos" but she doesn't mind blatant Chanel CC logos on her shoes. Remember those horribly over-worn white Chanel sandals she wore all of last summer. They were in EVERY PHOTO. How cute. Your one high-end item you wear 24/7. FASHIONISTA!!!!

  2. I think she meant that Verdi could not remember her whenever he saw her but that she doesnt give him a hard time because she does the same thing as well to others.

  3. Possibly... it's hard to tell considering she says both that "he's pretty cool about it" (that they have to "meet" again each time) and also says that she "doesn't give people a hard time about it."

  4. I agree with 6:51; that's how I read it too. I also think Mary would cut her own mother for any Encore item with a Chanel logo.

  5. She also spelled Vuitton wrong.

  6. There's someone over in RBNS who misquoted (lied) you and said you said you were auditioning for NS. I went over there and said what I had to say and then also made the point that they only say not to talk about you when someone stands up for you but not when someone posts lies or other things about you. Then now suddenly I click on the comments for that post and the page comes up blank. Just thought you should know.

  9. Please, please stop saying "on blast." I haven't heard that for years and it makes me cringe.

  10. this post is blatantly pointless as Mary's post is entirely harmless.

give critique where critique is due but this blog is starting to stoop to new unnecessary lows. lame.

FYI yes, there are LV logos all over that top alla:

  11. Just so you know, I did some research (because it was bugging the hell out of me too) and this (::) is used as a "read more" code. If you go to her actual page everything after that is under the read more link.

  12. So what is the code for "read less"?

  13. Mary the fact that he has to be introduced to you every single time you meet is a form of "snubbing". If he felt you were a "fashionista" worth remembering you would know about it.

He's reserving the right to "not know you" the next time he sees you.

and you went to the gym with this lady? she looks like she can't stand you.

What kind of "fashionista" can't spell Louis Vuitton or Donna Karan?

Why don't you swear a little more Mary, it's so classy when you do it?
