Convenient...

maryrambin:

As I left they handed me this enormous LL Bean schwag bag. Nice!! The first real schwag of fashion week. Tough economy means there aren’t as many hair products to go around.

Note the strategically situated Blueprint Cleanse that they continue to promote even though it has been widely reported as a scam.

Keep talking about how times are tough, Mare. Out of all the girls you are the only one who even can considering you're homeless and all. How long is it responsible to couch surf, though? It's been a while now and even the most welcome house guest becomes a pain in the ass after enough time passes.

  2. Some girls where I work do the BPC. One of their bottles in the refrigerator contained the following: water, lemon juice and cayenne. Seemed like an awful waste of plastic and cash if you ask me.

  3. Wow.. that's just the "Master Cleanse" being packaged and resold. They have recipes for that thing all over, have for over a year.

  5. Not past your mid twenties. These girls aren't exactly 20.

  6. starting a business (or whatever you want to call it) is not always productive, especially in the beginning. and don't forget the tough economy. your life might be great but there are a lot of people in the US going through tough times right now. not even the nonsociety girls are exempt from that.

  7. I'm not sure I get the relevance of this comment, Anonymous. I never said my life was good, bad, rich OR poor.

I am however, responsible enough to not be couch surfing at 26 years old.

  8. sorry, i should have been more clear. i guess what i was trying to refer to is how people are frequently overly critical of others, often because they have never been in their situation. who knows what responsibilities and stressors a person has in their life? people have different lives, some that are more difficult than others (and not all situations are within a person's control).

  9. True people do have different circumstances. But I have been emancipated since the age of 15 and even I have never had to couch surf at 26 years old. It's about being responsible and working and planning for the times things get rough. So that when things happen as an ADULT that are out of your control, you have yourself to count on. Not your friends couch.
